Our Bureau of Victims Services offers a variety of services such as emergency help, counseling and referrals for victims of crime. Please click here to connect with a victim advocate in your area.


Legal Advice

Before contacting our office, please understand that the District Attorney's Office is prevented by law from answering legal questions or offering legal advice (California Business & Professions Code section 6131).


Case Information

If you are a defendant in a criminal case and are represented by an attorney, our office is prohibited from communicating directly or indirectly with you regarding your criminal case. Please contact your attorney if you have questions regarding your case (California Rules of Professional Conduct 2-100). For all other inquiries regarding specific case information, please click here to connect with the appropriate division handling your case. You can also find case information online by visting the superior court website.


Reporting a Crime

Please contact the appropriate police agency or sheriff's office directly. The District Attorney does not initiate reports. If the investigating agency concludes that charges should be filed, the case is referred to the District Attorney’s Office for review.


Child Support

As a result of state legislation, the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office no longer has jurisdiction over child support collection and services. The San Bernardino County Child Support Services Department has assumed legal responsibility for child support operations formerly performed by the District Attorney's Office.
