SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has completed its review of the non-fatal officer-involved shooting of Nicholas Thor Salinas, 22, of Bakersfield, by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy Gregory Grimm on July 17, 2012.
After a thorough review of the facts, circumstances and applicable law pertaining to this matter, the District Attorney’s Office has concluded the shooting was justifiable in self-defense and the defense of others and no criminal liability attaches to the conduct of any involved officer.
