There were 134 state prison commitments obtained with a total of 996 years of state prison. 72 gang enhancements were found true and 13 were found guilty by jury trial.

Since the Gang Program’s inception in July 2005, 8,216 cases have been filed; 2 on death row; 4,440 state prison commitments; 33,289 + 225 life terms years in state prison; 2,000 gang enhancements have been found true and 302 were found guilty by jury trial.

“Just like our partners in law enforcement who battle gangsters on the front lines of our county every day, we, too, remain committed to keeping our communities safe,” District Attorney Michael Ramos said. “We will not sit back and let these criminals take control of our streets.”
