SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – In an effort to reduce the demand for victims of human trafficking, the District Attorney’s Office released another name and photograph of a defendant convicted of solicitation in San Bernardino County.
“As I said at the beginning of the year when we rolled this program out, if you are convicted of purchasing another human being for sex in this county, there will be added consequences,” District Attorney Michael Ramos said. “Unfortunately, we have nearly fifty other defendants in this same situation who are going through the court system right now. If and when they are convicted, they can expect to see their names and photos on our site, as well.”
