MEDIA ADVISORY: District Attorney Ramos to Join Law Enforcement, Medical Professionals and Local Leaders for Grand Opening of Children’s Assessment Center
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – District Attorney Mike Ramos will join law enforcement, medical professionals and local leaders today at the grand opening of the Children’s Assessment Center of San Bernardino County from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. The Children’s Assessment Center treats children ages 0-18 from every area of San Bernardino County who are suspected victims of abuse. Last year, the Center treated more than 1,300 children from our own communities.
“I am so proud of the collaborative approach we have formed with our forensic pediatricians at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and law enforcement partners to better serve our most vulnerable victims, our children,” District Attorney Michael Ramos said. “Like all victims, they deserve to be treated with the utmost dignity and respect at a time when the world around them seems to be falling apart.”
