DA Finds Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in Chino Hills Justified

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has completed its review of the fatal officer-involved shooting of Jason Wilson, 25, of Chino Hills, by Chino Police Officer Kevin Kline, San Bernardino County Sheriff Deputy Anthony Ortega and San Bernardino County Sheriff Sgt. Jason Hendrix on March 28, 2014.

Under the facts, circumstances and the applicable law, the officers were justified in self-defense and the defense of others and no criminal liability attaches to the conduct of any involved officer. Click here to download a copy of the written case evaluation.
