San Bernardino man sentenced to state prison for 2014 hit-and-run crash

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.– A San Bernardino man was sentenced Tuesday for the 2014 hit-and-run crash that killed a 13-year-old girl and left her two sisters hospitalized. The collision occurred at the intersection of West Rialto Avenue and South Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino.

Martin Mosby, 25, was sentenced to 19 years and four months in state prison.

Last month a jury found 25-year-old Martin Mosby not guilty of murder, but he was convicted of several other charges: One count of Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated, one count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident, two counts of Driving Under the Influence of an Alcoholic Beverage Causing Injury, and two counts of Driving with a .08% Blood Alcohol Content Causing Injury and found true on sentencing enhancements for great bodily injury.

This case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Mallory Miller and was investigated by the San Bernardino Police Department.
