Two San Bernardino school employees accused of stealing iPads and laptops charged

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.– Two San Bernardino City Unified School District employees accused of stealing $71,000 worth of iPads and computer laptops have been charged.

Andrew Schultz, 34, of Monrovia, and Eric Buries, 48, of Rancho Cucamonga, were each charged with one felony count of Embezzlement. Colette Schultz, 33, of Monrovia (who is the wife of Andrew Schultz) was also charged with one felony count of Receiving Stolen Property for her role in the scheme.

At the time of the crime, both Schultz and Buries worked at the San Bernardino City Unified School District. Both men are accused of stealing iPads and computers and then selling them on Craig’s List and pawning them.

All three defendants are scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 29, 2016, at the San Bernardino Justice Center. Click here to download a copy of the complaint.
