DA Finds Non-Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in Bloomington Legally Justified

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.  – The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has completed its review of the non-fatal officer-involved shooting of 49-year-old Lance Rondeau of Bloomington by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies David Ceballos, Steven King, Ryan Williams and Kyle Wilson on Aug. 18, 2016.

Based on the facts presented in the reports and the applicable law, the use of deadly force by all deputies was a proper exercise of their right to self-defense and defense of others and therefore their actions were legally justified. Click here to download a copy of the written case evaluation.
