Let's End Truancy (LET) - Absences

Personal illness (school may require doctor’s note verifying absence)

Funeral services for immediate family (1 day if in California, 3 days if outside California)

Quarantine under the direction of a health officer

Personal medical, dental, eye appointment (requires doctor’s note)

Personal court appearance (requires verification)

Religious holidays, ceremonies, or retreats (up to 4 days/month)
